Adult Ministry

at MEFC

Milaca Free Church's doors are open wide to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey. Our various ministries present an opportunity to worship God and connect with others.

Adult Ministry at MEFC encompasses a variety of ministries. We have Small Groups, Women’s Ministries and Men’s Ministry. Below you can find more information on each of these and how you can be a part of MEFC.

Small Groups

Small Groups at Milaca Free Church are all about doing life together. As we go deeper into our relationship with God we realize the need for deeper relationships with those around us to encourage us, empower us, and push us to greater spiritual depths. Small groups typically meet twice a month and involve a discussion based on the previous week’s sermon or book study, prayer, maybe even meal sharing but always strives for lifelong friendships.

Contact the office at office@milacafreechurch.com if you are interested in joining a Small Group.

Grief Share

GriefShare, a special help seminar and support group for people experiencing grief and loss, is held in ‘The Shed’ on Monday evenings from 6-7:30 pm starting January 6th and ending March 31st. For more information about GriefShare, contact Susan at 320-362-0878.

Prayer Fellowship

After our Worship Service we have a time of prayer in the sanctuary. We pray for the needs of our church body, our missionaries, and family and friends who have specific requests, as well as those in leadership, locally and nationally. All are welcome to join us. If you have a prayer request, please contact the office at office@milacafreechurch.com.

Adult Bible Communities

Jesus began a people movement that is centered around community. To facilitate the building of relationships at MEFC, we have Adult Bible Communities--a place where you can, in a relaxed atmosphere, get to know other believers, and learn applicable Bible truths together.

Women’s Ministries

Our Women's Ministries include Bible studies, our annual retreat, our MomCo group, and various activities throughout the year.

Men’s Ministries

Men’s Wild Game Dinner

Held annually in early spring, this dinner offers men and boys an opportunity to invite hunting & fishing buddies to a potluck feast featuring many different wild game dishes.

A featured guest speaker brings an engaging message from hunting and fishing or sports, and offers a gospel challenge.

Many donated prizes are given away and warm fellowship is experienced.

Our Men's Ministries include annual events like our Wild Game Dinner and Rock Ridge retreat, and a Saturday morning Breakfast and Bible Study that meets during the school year!

Rock Ridge Men’s Retreat

This getaway to Rock Ridge Camp in Ely, MN is held every year on the 3rd weekend of August. This retreat offers a rustic wilderness setting for men and boys to fish, relax, fellowship, and enjoy the beauty of God's creation. Great food is always available from early morning cinnamon rolls to a huge Saturday evening fish fry.

A testimony is shared, songs sung, and a spiritual challenge is presented.

Breakfast & Bible Study

All guys 14+ are invited to explore what it means to be a man after God's own heart. Paul Belkholm leads a men's bible study on the life of King David which meets every other Saturday. The group meets in the Fellowship Hall at 7:30 AM and shares breakfast before studying God’s word together. If you're able, please join us!
